Clothes moths are a major pest in clothing and textiles as their larvae feed on the protein found in animal products such as wool, leather and silk. They eat away at the fabric and create holes. They reproduce rapidly and without monitoring or prevention, an infestation can become out of control before you detect the moth presence.
Russell IPM’s Clothes Moth Trap is a discreet and effective prebaited sticky trap that monitors and detects infestation at an early stage. It effectively traps the male specimens of the pale backed clothes moth, Monopis crocicapitella, and the webbing cloth moth, Tineola bisselliella, without the need for using insecticides. Instead, the trap’s adhesive layer contains a pheromone which specifically targets these moths.
The trap is odourless to humans and will not leave behind a bad smell.
It operates around the clock, with minimal service required. Regular trap catch counts inform you as to whether or not you have a problem and how serious the problem may be.
